At Broadplace, we believe in the importance of mental health and well-being. From May 13-19, 2024, we proudly embraced Mental Health Awareness Week, dedicating ourselves to fostering a supportive environment for our team. This week, we didn’t just talk about mental health; we took action by organising a Wellness Walk where we took an afternoon stroll through the beautiful woods near our office.

Walking Together: A Step Towards Better Mental Health

Our awareness walk was more than just a physical activity; it was an opportunity for us to connect, and support one another. The woods allow us to breathe in the fresh air, soak up the natural beauty, and engage in meaningful conversations. As we walked, we immersed ourselves in nature and shared laughter and joy.

Our walk concluded at a charming pub, where we continued our conversations over a few drinks. It was a wonderful time filled with great conversations, and lots of fun.

Prioritising Mental Health at Broadplace

At Broadplace, employee mental health is our top priority. We understand that a happy and healthy team is essential to our success. That’s why we are committed to ensuring our employees have a healthy work-life balance.

Social interactions and team-building activities are the heart of our workplace culture. Every month, we organise different team-building activities to ensure our employees have opportunities to bond, have fun, and de-stress. Whether it’s a group outing, an office trivia afternoon or a simple team lunch, these activities help foster a sense of community and belonging.

Summary

Mental Health Awareness Week was a significant reminder of why we do what we do at Broadplace. It was a celebration of our commitment to each other’s well-being and a testament to our belief that mental health should always be a priority. As we move forward, we will continue to support our team, nurture a positive work environment, and embrace every opportunity to promote mental health and well-being.
