The year is almost getting to its end and its obvious that we look back to find out the top 10 Innovations in Google AdWords for the year 2010. The year had been really fantastic for the AdWords users since Google gave varied features to manage the AdWords PPC campaign effectively and efficiently. The features really allowed any PPC Company to have that precise ad spend to get as much as ROI on the advertising budget. Google in its blog post is reflecting on the ways that AdWords and online advertising as a whole have evolved over the past year. From the launch of new search ad formats on Google.com to Search Funnel reports that illustrate search behavior leading up to a sale, 2010 saw a number of new developments from Google.

AdWords PPC Campaign Experiments:
AdWords PPC Campaign Experiments (ACE) is a tool that allows you to accurately test and measure changes to your keywords, bids, ad groups and placements. By using ACE, you’ll be able to better optimize your account by seeing how changes to keywords, bids, ad groups and placements impact your campaign performance.
A set of reports describing the Google.com search ad click and impression behavior leading up to a conversion. These reports can provide you with data on how your “upper-funnel” keywords assist conversions beyond just the last click.
Highlight your most relevant products with pictures and prices directly on the search results page with Product Listing Ads and Product Extensions.
AdWords Call Metrics :
AdWords call metrics is a new feature that lets you measure the number of phone calls generated by your AdWords campaigns. Using the technology behind Google Voice, call metrics creates a unique phone number for each of your campaigns which is automatically inserted into your ad when it appears on Google.com, on both desktop computers & high-end mobile devices.
Click-to-call Phone Extensions :
When people search for goods or services using their mobile phones, they often prefer to call a store rather than visit that store’s website. Now you can make it even easier for potential customers to reach you by adding a click-to-call business phone number in ads that appear on mobile devices with full internet browsers. There are two ways you can include a click-to-call phone number in your ad campaigns: Location extensions and Phone extensions.
Display Campaign Optimizer :
The Display Campaign Optimizer is the tool that increases conversions by automatically managing targeting and bidding for campaigns appearing on the Google Display Network. You simply set your target cost-per-acquisition (CPA), and the Display Campaign Optimizer automatically determines the appropriate placements to show your ads at the right prices to help you boost conversions, based on your CPA goals.
Enhanced CPC :
