Small businesses are increasing in number online since the increase in the number of online shoppers. Maximum numbers of online searches happen on Google, which clearly indicates that highest number of business is generated through it. Google has tried making online advertising easy for small business owners through Google places, tags and even Adwords. They have now come up with another advertising solution named as Google Boost.
Google announced the availability of a new online advertising solution to help local businesses connect with potential customers in their area. Boost enables business owners to easily create online search ads from directly within their Google Places account. No ongoing management is needed after the initial set up, and this beta is currently available to select local businesses in San Francisco, Houston and Chicago.
Google Boost will help small business owners to advertise themselves online; within the area they provide their products and services. To use Boost advertisers need to sign up for Google Places and then they can easily create search-based ads. The advertiser can include the name of his business, product details, location and contact details. They can also add a link to their ads, which will be directed to the advertiser’s Google Places page or their own home page if they have one.
Google Boost is simple and can be easily managed by the advertiser himself. They can target basic PPC keywords and run their ads on a monthly budget just like Google Adwords. Boost is a simpler version and does not require an expert to manage the campaigns like Adwords. It has been introduced to make local search based advertising effective and profitable for small business advertisers who do not have heavy advertising budgets.
With Boost, small business owners now have more scope to advertise their products and services online and reach their target audience.
Its worth trying!!!
