Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity has been chosen by Broadplace as our “Charity of the Year” for 2015/6. We aim to raise £5,000 throughout the partnership.

We’ve committed all of our annual fundraising efforts to help the charity and already staff members have pledged their support in the form of:

  • charity boxing match
  • 5-a-side football match
  • table tennis tournament
  • various other events

Broadplace’s Jamie Ludlow (Senior Account Manager) has secured a place in the London Marathon and will be running to raise money for the Rainbow Trust.

Not only is the charity an incredibly worthy cause, but their headquarters are located just around the corner from Broadplace Towers! So we are close to the charity in more ways than one. We are proud to be contributing in a small way to raising vital funds for the families of terminally ill children.

Ajay Syal, Managing Director at Broadplace Advertising said,

“We’re really proud to be supporting a local, yet national charity that does such tremendous work in their support of families who are going through an incredibly difficult time. We’ve been really impressed with the immediate enthusiasm of the whole UK team here at Broadplace; there are already lots of fundraising initiatives in place and more to come in the new year.”

Heather Wood, Chief Executive of Rainbow Trust has said,

We are absolutely delighted to have been selected as Broadplace’s Charity of the Year 2015/6. The partnership will have a huge impact for Rainbow Trust, enabling us to support more families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. We have already received a great response from employees willing to fundraise for us and we can’t wait for the partnership to start.
