Stephanie Sherwood & Lisa Lansbury, two of Broadplace’s Account Managers, participated in Race for Life, a sponsored run organised by Cancer Research UK. Steph and Lisa managed to raise a whopping £474.99 for Cancer Research UK.
The Race for Life run took place at Stoke Park, Guildford Surrey on 20th June 2010. Lisa completed the 5 kilometre run in 33 minutes and Steph finished in 37 minutes.
Race for Life is a fund raiser event organised by Cancer Research UK. Participate in this event to show your support for the Cancer Research cause in making the world better prepared to fight the ugly battle against cancer.
Considering the probability that cancer is very much likely to become a widespread disease in the near future, Cancer Research UK is an independent charity organisation committed towards carrying out extensive scientific research on cancer, its prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Cancer Research believes in conducting its studies and research entirely on funds received from the general public which motivates each one of us to support this noble cause.
The employees of Broadplace Advertising have committed to support the future funding initiatives of Cancer Research UK. Steph and Lisa really enjoyed taking part in Race for Life and would like to thank everyone for their support. The girls have decided to participate in another Race for Life event to be held next year, with great enthusiasm and support received from Broadplace Advertising they wish to raise funds for cancer research in the future.
